Debbie Guillen – PEIMS Coordinator & Registrar
Debbie Guillen, Dell City ISD's PEIMS coordinator and registrar, has been a full-time district employee since 2017. But she began substitute teaching here 15 years earlier, and always had her sights on a full-time position. This Dell City native loves her job – which puts her natural computer skills to good use – and she says that working at the school she herself attended, alongside coworkers who were once classmates, is deeply satisfying.

Adriana Sanchez – Executive Administrative Assistant
A Dell City High grad, Adriana Sanchez joined the district in 2015, and quickly found a place at the heart of the day-to-day life of the school. She's a central presence in the school's front office, and as executive administrative assistant, she's a vital aide to the superintendent. She's embraced large responsibilities, and plays a critical role in making our school run smoothly.

Joseph Czubinski – Social-Studies Teacher & Athletics Director
Athletics director and social studies and history teacher, Joe Czubinski – Coach Ski – has been a cornerstone of Dell City High since he joined the district in 2015. He's a dynamic presence in the classroom – and our high-school students consistently single him out for they way he engages their minds and broadens their views of the world. The lessons he teaches as a coach are also powerful ones. For Coach Ski, the Dell City School is more than a full-time job – in addition to teaching, and to coaching and traveling with Cougar teams, he drives our school bus. Coach Ski was selected Teacher of the Year in 2017.

Tesha Czubinski – Lead Teacher
Tesha Czubinski joined the Dell City School in 2015, as a veteran educator, and she quickly became part of the backbone of the school. She's played many roles – as elementary and middle-school teacher, as school counselor and as a lead teacher and mentor to new teachers. But at the core of her contribution is her commitment to and love for students. Ms. Ski was selected Teacher of the Year in 2018.

Peggy Beltrán – Elementary Teacher
Elementary teacher Peggy Beltrán is a veteran educator and a gifted teacher in the classroom, who demands much of her students and nurtures and inspires them toward excellence. Ms. Beltrán initially joined the district in 2016, and she was selected elementary Teacher of the Year in 2021.

Andrew Stuart - Communications Director
Dell City ISD's Communications Director, Andrew Stuart is a writer and journalist who loves the desert-mountain country of rural West Texas, and the people who live here. Mr. Stuart joined the Dell City School staff in 2016. He brings years of journalism experience to the work of informing – and celebrating – the Cougar Community.

Stephanie Espinoza – Kinder & Pre-K Teacher
Stephanie Espinoza is the Dell City School's kindergarten and pre-K teacher. A Cougar Class of 2017 grad, she's part of a group of young Dell Citians who've dedicated themselves to nurturing the community's next generation. In teaching, Espinoza has found work that moves, challenges and inspires her – her young students, she said, have changed her life.

Elsa McCray – 1st and 2nd Grade Teacher
Elsa McCray – who joined the Dell City ISD staff in 2018 – is our first- and second-grade teacher this year. She's a natural in the classroom – a nurturer, and a skilled instructor – and she's building an impressive record of teaching success: her young students consistently read well above grade level.

Makayla VanVooris – 5th-8th Math & Science Teacher
Makayla VanVooris joins Dell City ISD this year, 2021, as our fifth- through eighth-grade math and science teacher. Ms. V knew from an early age that she wanted to be a teacher, and there's no mistaking her gifts as an educator: With her creativity in the classroom, she's challenging and energizing Cougar students.

Mark Edens – Ag Teacher
Mark Edens is Dell City ISD's new Ag teacher in 2021. He comes to the district with 40 years of experience in education, and with a history of success as a teacher and principal. But Ag education is his first passion. Teaching, Edens said, is “a form of ministry, a kind of service,” and Edens knew that he had a calling to Ag by the time he was a freshman in high school.

Paloma Medina – P.E., Art & Library Teacher, Computer Lab Aide
Paloma Medina – a native Dell Citian who joined Dell City ISD in October 2020 – fills multiple roles at the school, working with students from pre-K to high school. And with Cougar students of all ages, she's found work that's both challenging, and nourishing.

Stephanie Rangel – Pre-Pre-K and Pre-K Teacher
In was her care as a mother that initially brought Stephanie Rangel into the classroom, as a volunteer aide. She soon discovered that teaching was a career that inspires, challenges and rewards her. Now, Rangel teaches the Dell City School's 3- and 4-year-olds, our pre-pre-K and pre-K classes. There's no mistaking that it's a great fit.

Clemens Boakye – Secondary Math Teacher
Clemens Boakye – “Mr. B” – joined Dell City ISD this year as the school's secondary math teacher. And in his first month, he's already made his mark, with the intensity and passion he brings to the classroom. That same passion has powered a bold and remarkable journey – from a small village in the African nation of Ghana, to a graduate degree and teaching career in West Texas.

Alethea Mata – Secondary Science Teacher
Alethea Mata joins Dell City ISD this year as the school's secondary science teacher. She's the district's one-person science department – teaching seventh- and eighth-grade science, biology, anatomy and physiology, physics and chemistry. Mata has a degree in biology, but she said that, as much as a love for the subject matter, it's a desire to serve that's motivated her to become a teacher.
