  • In Keeping with Physical Distancing Guidelines, Public May Participate in School Board Meeting Remotely

    The Dell City ISD school board hosts its regular monthly meeting tonight, March 26, at 6 p.m., and community members may participate in the meeting remotely, in keeping with guidelines for physical distancing and last week's order from the governor of Texas prohibiting gatherings of 10 or more.

    At the Dell City School, today was to be the first day back on campus after spring break. But with the disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, and the necessary steps being taken to slow the spread of the disease, instruction resumes this week – outside the classroom.

  • News from the Dell City School Board

    The Dell City ISD school board held its monthly meeting Feb. 27, and there was a lot on the agenda. The meeting began with the swearing-in of new school board member Tim McCray, and also included a presentation by Athletics Director Joe Czubinski, and fellow coaches Chuck Wilson and Trever Czubinski, to recognize the hard work and achievements of Cougar students in fall and winter sports.

  • At “5-A Day,” Cougar Community Celebrates Student Achievement

    Dell City School students, staff, parents and community members came together in Cougar Gym March 4 for “5A Day” and it was a chance to celebrate student achievement in the classroom, in academic UIL competitions and more. Events Coordinator Catrina Wilson announced winners of Awards for Academics, Attendance, Athletics and Activities, and Supt. Ruben Cervantes, Principal Carlos A. Contreras and classroom teachers passed out the certificates.
