  • Oscar Guerrero – Special-Education Teacher

    Oscar Guerrero, Dell City ISD's new special-education teacher, has had a variety of roles in his five years as an educator – from teaching science and math in rural communities to administering testing and federal programs at a large El Paso charter school. But in working with Dell City's special-education students, he's finding a particular satisfaction.

  • Clemens Boakye – Secondary Math Teacher

    Clemens Boakye – “Mr. B” – joined Dell City ISD this year as the school's secondary math teacher. And in his first month, he's already made his mark, with the intensity and passion he brings to the classroom. That same passion has powered a bold and remarkable journey – from a small village in the African nation of Ghana, to a graduate degree and teaching career in West Texas.

  • Alethea Mata – Secondary Science Teacher

    Alethea Mata joins Dell City ISD this year as the school's secondary science teacher. She's the district's one-person science department – teaching seventh- and eighth-grade science, biology, anatomy and physiology, physics and chemistry. Mata has a degree in biology, but she said that, as much as a love for the subject matter, it's a desire to serve that's motivated her to become a teacher.

  • Virginia Ramirez – Fifth- & Sixth-Grade Teacher

    Virginia Ramirez joins Dell City ISD this year as the district's fifth- and sixth-grade teacher. She brings to the job not only teaching experience, but the diverse real-world experiences of a self-described “lifelong learner.”

  • Catrina Wilson – PEIMS Clerk, Registrar, Events Coordinator & Cheer Sponsor

    Catrina Wilson joined Dell City ISD earlier this year, but, at her desk in the main office, she's already found her place at the heart of the campus. Wilson is the school's registrar and she's the clerk for “PEIMS” – the Public Education Information Management System. She's also the school's events coordinator and sponsor for the cheerleading program.

  • Nataneal Rodriguez – Fourth- & Fifth-Grade Teacher

    Nataneal Rodriguez teaches Dell City ISD's fourth- and fifth-graders. It's his first year of teaching, and he's striving to insure that his students integrate what they've learned in elementary, and are equipped for the next phase.

    Erika Gamez joined Dell City ISD this year as the district’s kindergarten and first-grade teacher, and she’s dedicated to giving the elementary school’s youngest students the academic, social and emotional fundamentals.

  • Chuck Wilson – Ag Teacher, FFA Coordinator & Coach

    Chuck Wilson is Dell City ISD’s new Ag science teacher and FFA coordinator. He’s also an assistant coach. In a community built on agriculture, and a school with a proud FFA history, Wilson brings years of experience, and he hopes he can share his passion for teaching and coaching with Dell City students for years to come.
